Busy as a bee
And just as bright
Without books
Tested nonetheless
Tending boarders
When not driving oxen
In her moose larrigans
On the salt marsh
She honeyed life
In her cheerful hive
Laughing at jokes
That made her flowers blush
Before dancing her mop
Across the floors
To make the kitchen clean again
